Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit
Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision
Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff
Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery
Provide direct care for patients from admission to discharge

Qualifications

Current State of Montana RN Licensure
BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire
EPNC, TNCC certification preferred
1 year of experience in an advanced Medical/Surgical Unit and recent Critical Care or Progressive Care Nursing

Education

Degree from a Nursing Program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient Assessment
Care Planning
Collaboration with Healthcare Teams
Leadership and Precepting
Use of basic office equipment
Use of multiple IV pumps
Ability to operate advanced medical equipment
