Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver technical nursing care to residents using the nursing process
• Function as a member of the nursing team under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assume charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) as needed

Qualifications

• Current California LVN license
• At least 1 year of experience as an LVN
• Graduate from an approved LVN program with an associate's or equivalent degree
• Current CPR certification

Education

• Associate's or equivalent degree
• Graduate from an approved LVN program

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to apply good clinical judgment
• Plan work and establish priorities
• Maintain flexibility
• Proficient written and verbal skills
• Ability to use a computer proficiently
