Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver technical nursing care to residents using the nursing process
- Function as a member of the nursing team under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Assume charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) as needed
Qualifications
- Current California LVN license
- At least 1 year of experience as an LVN
- Graduate from an approved LVN program with an associate's or equivalent degree
- Current CPR certification
Education
- Associate's or equivalent degree
- Graduate from an approved LVN program
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to apply good clinical judgment
- Plan work and establish priorities
- Maintain flexibility
- Proficient written and verbal skills
- Ability to use a computer proficiently
