Bill Rate: $164,008.00/year

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and direct surgical services operations
Evaluate patient care delivery and promote safety and well-being
Manage department staff, including nurses and anesthesia staff
Develop and implement policies and procedures
Maintain interdepartmental and intradepartmental communication

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in operating room and surgical services management
BSN, MSN, or Master's degree in healthcare or business administration preferred
Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing in Alaska
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Education

Completed program of education in nursing from an NLN-approved institution
BSN, MSN, or Master's degree in healthcare or business administration preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Leadership and management skills
Patient care and safety expertise
Communication and teamwork abilities
Budgeting and fiscal management knowledge
Electronic Health Records (EHRs) experience
