Roles & Responsibilities

Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
Provide patient education and quality patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform preventative maintenance
Assist with clerical duties and patient transportation as needed

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
2 years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and communication
Mammography imaging procedures
Radiation safety and ALARA standards
Electronic records and PACS/RIS/HIS systems
