Location: Bakersfield, CA

Start Date: 05-23-2026

End Date: 08-22-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with rotational call after hours, including weekends (Friday 4 pm through Monday 7:30 am) and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in Interventional Radiology procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care
Operate and maintain GE Innova, MedRad Injector, GE Logic Book, and Angiojet equipment
Provide support for radiologists and other healthcare professionals during procedures
Maintain accurate records and ensure seamless workflow in the IR department

Qualifications

ARRT (RT)(R) certification preferred
Visual Inspection (VI) certification
Previous experience as an IR Technologist or in a related field

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Interventional Radiology procedures and techniques
Proficiency in operating IR equipment and technology
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
