Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direction and guidance for hospital staff in interpretation and application of policies and procedures
- Organize workflow and ensure staff understand their duties
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
- Assume responsibility for supervision and administrative decision making
- Work closely with charge nurses and clinical support staff
Qualifications
- Degree from a Nursing Program
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an RN in a hospital setting
- Recent ICU experience
- Licensed registered nurse in the State of Montana
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS required or must obtain within 6 months
Education
- Degree from a Nursing Program
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced nursing principles and procedures
- Care of post-operative patients and medical patients
- Strong background in cardiac monitoring
- Exceptional leadership and people skills
- Customer service oriented
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
