Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with flexible options: 7a-7p, 7a-3p, 3p-7p, 7p-11p, 11p-7a, or 7p-7a; every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including oncology and trauma PCU, as well as med/surg
Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for reactions (chemo certification preferred, not required)
Titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem as needed
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dieticians
Maintain hourly rounding and ensure a positive patient experience
Float to med/surg and other PCU units as needed to support the team

Qualifications

At least 1 year of PCU/Oncology experience required
First-time travelers welcome
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Driver's license required for verification of distance
Willingness to work with diverse patient backgrounds and treat everyone with respect

Knowledge & Skills

ACLS and BLS certification
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
EPIC proficiency within 6 months preferred (not a deal breaker)
Experience with chemotherapy, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000) - training available
Knowledge of Alaris IV pumps and Lyko lifts
