Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Titrate drips including insulin and cardizem as needed
Administer chemotherapy and manage port-a-caths
Monitor ventilators and hemodynamic lines (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
BLS and ACLS certification required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
EPIC experience preferred but not required
Driver's license required for submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in chemotherapy administration and handling
Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Skilled in titrating common drips like heparin, cardizem, and insulin
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, mixed-acuity unit
