Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to medical-surgical and cardiac patients, making a real difference every shift
- Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes, showcasing your clinical expertise
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, empowering them on their journey
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent experience in MS or Cardio nursing
- Completion of specialty competency testing and skills checklist
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment skills for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
- Proficiency in patient monitoring and intervention
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with electronic health records
