Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the Cardiovascular Lab
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the Cath Lab team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and inventory for each case
- Continuously assess and document patient condition, responding quickly to changes
- Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives to elevate patient care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nursing (RN) license in New Jersey
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic interpretation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficient in aseptic technique and surgical environment protocols
