Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert respiratory care to patients in emergency and intensive care settings
• Provide therapeutic treatment and both invasive and non-invasive monitoring
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results to guide care decisions
• Educate patients and families on managing pulmonary and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment to ensure safety and accuracy
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to elevate patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist license (or willingness to obtain before start)
• RRT preferred; CRT candidates welcome to apply
• At least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Comfortable managing mechanical ventilators
• Skilled in performing and interpreting EKGs
• Travel experience is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of respiratory care and emergency care protocols
• Skilled in intensive care and invasive/non-invasive monitoring
• Proficient in diagnostic testing and mechanical ventilation
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation and equipment maintenance
• Strong patient education and communication abilities
• Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement
