Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care assessments and treatments to patients
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and ventilator support
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized respiratory care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and code situations
• Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in Georgia
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Recent graduates welcome to apply
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory therapy modalities and equipment
• Skill in interpreting patient data and adjusting therapies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Familiarity with electronic health records
