Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Assess and monitor patient respiratory status
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies
• Manage ventilators and airway support devices
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC
• Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS preferred)
• Pediatric respiratory care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Adaptability to work flexible per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
• Comfort with pediatric and neonatal patient populations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong documentation and EHR skills
• Excellent bedside manner and patient education skills
