Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy assessments and treatments for patients in the NICU, ICU, and ED, ensuring individualized, compassionate care
• Administer nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and CPT to support patient respiratory function
• Draw ABGs and assist with intubations during critical procedures
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients of all ages

Qualifications

• Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital respiratory therapy experience
• Experience in ICU, NICU, and ED settings
• Proven ability to draw ABGs
• NICU experience is required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of ventilator management, including Servo I (preferred)
• Experience with I-Stat (preferred)
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic health records
• Excellent customer service and patient communication skills
• Ability to work with patients of all ages
• Comfortable assisting with intubation and emergency procedures
