Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR and maintain a sterile environment for a wide range of complex procedures
• Assist surgeons directly during orthopedic trauma, spine, neuro, robotic, and general surgeries
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and handle instruments with precision
• Ensure patient safety and positioning throughout each procedure
• Document surgical details accurately in Cerner
• Collaborate with a dynamic team and participate in on-call coverage

Qualifications

• Active CSTFA, CFA, or RNFA certification required
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Strong experience with ortho trauma, spine, neurosurgery, and robotics
• BLS certification required
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and OR protocols
• Ability to assist with ortho, neuro, spine, GYN, general, robotic, vascular, peds, ENT, plastics, podiatry, OMF, dental, and eye trauma cases
• Experience with Da Vinci, Mako, and Velys robotic systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
