Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, EKGs, and hemodynamic data
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions
• Educate and support patients and families during critical moments
• Respond quickly and confidently to emergencies and changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact NLC
• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, critical care environments
• Willingness to adapt to new teams and hospital protocols
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of critical care protocols, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Skilled in EKG interpretation and medication administration
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
