Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Sanford, Florida
Start Date: 04-29-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision and compassion
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients throughout the imaging process
- Operate and calibrate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality results
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain strict safety protocols for radiation exposure and patient care
- Document patient histories and imaging data accurately and thoroughly
Qualifications
- Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (NMTCB or ARRT(N)) required
- Active Florida state license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong patient care skills and attention to detail
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and camera systems
- Knowledge of radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
- Skilled in using EHR and medical record systems
- Ability to explain procedures to patients and ease anxieties
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
