Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision and compassion
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients throughout the imaging process
• Operate and calibrate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality results
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses
• Maintain strict safety protocols for radiation exposure and patient care
• Document patient histories and imaging data accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications

• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (NMTCB or ARRT(N)) required
• Active Florida state license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong patient care skills and attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and camera systems
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
• Skilled in using EHR and medical record systems
• Ability to explain procedures to patients and ease anxieties
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
