Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform treatments according to protocol
• Document patient assessments and progress accurately and timely
• Float between units as needed, adapting quickly to different patient care environments
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or compact state (NLC) - compact license accepted
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• ACLS preferred for certain units
• Ability to float to the psych/rehab unit as needed
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing care standards and evidence-based practices
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
