Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Travel
Location: Rochester, NH
Start Date: 08-10-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced 18-bed ED
- Triage patients efficiently and prioritize care based on acuity
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to stabilize and treat acute conditions
- Administer medications, start IVs, and perform emergency procedures as needed
- Document accurately in the Expanse EMR and maintain meticulous patient records
- Float to other units as required to support hospital-wide patient care
Qualifications
- Active compact (NLC) RN license at time of submission - a must!
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI certifications
- Comfortable floating to other units and adapting to variable staffing models
- Experience with GE monitoring equipment and Expanse documentation is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Expert clinical skills in emergency nursing, including triage and stabilization
- Knowledge of cardiac monitoring, emergency medications, and resuscitation protocols
- Strong critical thinking and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork to coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team
- Adaptability to variable staffing models and floating assignments
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Expanse preferred)
