Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert acute dialysis care to patients across multiple hospital units
• Float to partner hospitals throughout the Salt Lake City market to meet patient needs
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis
• Manage on-call emergencies and respond promptly to urgent dialysis needs
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to optimize treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and self-care
• Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute care dialysis experience
• Active RN license in Utah or compact state
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Willingness to float to multiple hospitals in the market
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and take 1-2 calls weekly
• Must comply with Navy or Caribbean Blue scrubs dress code

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in acute hemodialysis, including CRRT
• Expertise in vascular access assessment and management
• Knowledge of dialysis equipment, water treatment, and infection control
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to quickly adapt to different hospital protocols and teams
• Time management and prioritization in high-acuity settings
