Travel Dialysis RN - Acute Care
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Start Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4 days per week, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts), every other weekend, 1-2 calls per week
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert acute dialysis care to patients across multiple hospital units
- Float to partner hospitals throughout the Salt Lake City market to meet patient needs
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis
- Manage on-call emergencies and respond promptly to urgent dialysis needs
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to optimize treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and self-care
- Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of acute care dialysis experience
- Active RN license in Utah or compact state
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Willingness to float to multiple hospitals in the market
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and take 1-2 calls weekly
- Must comply with Navy or Caribbean Blue scrubs dress code
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in acute hemodialysis, including CRRT
- Expertise in vascular access assessment and management
- Knowledge of dialysis equipment, water treatment, and infection control
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to quickly adapt to different hospital protocols and teams
- Time management and prioritization in high-acuity settings
