Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM), every third weekend and holiday required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy to a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics in ICU, NICU, medical-surgical, and cardiac units
Manage and operate ventilators including PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Perform respiratory assessments and make critical clinical judgments to optimize outcomes
Cover all areas of the facility including emergency department and critical care

Qualifications

Must hold RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Active ND state respiratory therapy license
Must have NICU experience
Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neonatal and adult ventilator management
Proficiency with various ventilator models (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton)
Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced Level II trauma and ICU environments
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
