Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive respiratory care across all inpatient areas of the hospital
Manage both invasive and non-invasive ventilator support for critically ill patients
Respond to emergencies and assist with intubations to ensure patient safety
Perform arterial blood gases and pulmonary hygiene procedures with precision
Coordinate home oxygen assessments and support seamless patient transitions
Transport critically ill patients with artificial airways while maintaining excellent care standards

Qualifications

Current Colorado Respiratory Therapist license required
RRT or CRT credential accepted
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications needed
Experience providing respiratory modalities in acute care settings
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

Respiratory modalities and medication delivery expertise
Emergency response and intubation assistance skills
Ventilator management for both invasive and non-invasive support
Arterial blood gas interpretation and pulmonary hygiene techniques
Patient transport of critically ill individuals with artificial airways
Home oxygen assessment and coordination knowledge
