Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Deliver specialized NICU support while collaborating closely with physicians and care teams
Manage advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, and Hamilton C1
Cover all facility areas including ICU, ER, surgical, and medical units with clinical independence
Make critical clinical judgments that directly impact patient outcomes every shift

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential for success in this role
Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong NICU expertise with neonates through geriatrics
Hands-on experience with Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60 equipment
Comfortable covering inpatient, ER, ICU, surgical, and medical areas
Skilled at making independent clinical decisions in fast-paced settings
Collaborative approach working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
