Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients with acute and chronic wounds
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans
• Perform wound debridement and apply specialized dressings
• Monitor healing progress and adjust treatments accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner

Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with wound care expertise
• Experience with Cerner or similar electronic health record
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of wound assessment and treatment modalities
• Proficiency in Cerner charting system
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate patient-centered care approach
