Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess progressive care patients with conditions like pneumonia, ARDS, and cardiac issues
• Titrate and manage intravenous drips such as amiodarone and dopamine with precision
• Interpret telemetry readings and collaborate with the care team to intervene quickly
• Administer medications and treatments while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Float across Region I facilities as needed, delivering consistent, high-quality nursing
• Document in EPIC and communicate effectively with charge nurses and house supervisors

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington (or willing to submit and obtain before start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience titrating cardiac drips and managing telemetry
• EPIC charting proficiency
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of cardiac drips and critical care medications
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips
• Assessment skills for progressive care patients
• Familiarity with ventilator support equipment like CPAP and BiPAP
• Team communication and floating adaptability
