Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Operate and calibrate CT equipment, including Toshiba (Canon) Aquilion scanners
• Document patient history and imaging results accurately in Cerner EHR
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in CT (ARRT (CT))
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT (R))
• Valid CA CRT License
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience
• Experience with Siemens and Toshiba scanners preferred
• Cardiac CT experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in computed tomography imaging techniques
• Proficiency with Toshiba (Canon) Aquilion 64 and 16 scanners
• Familiarity with Siemens scanner (training provided)
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Understanding of radiation safety protocols
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment
