Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with a variety of procedures, ensuring patient comfort and care
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Document patient information accurately using Denticon
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

• Current Orthodontic Assistant certification required
• Experience in dental assisting, preferably in orthodontics
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software, especially Denticon
• Understanding of infection control standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
