Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal heart rates and intervene as needed to ensure safe deliveries
• Circulate in C-section suites and assist with deliveries alongside OB techs
• Float to Postpartum and NICU to care for grower/feeders when needed
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of nurses, OB techs, and physicians
• Document care in Cerner and use FetalLink for fetal monitoring

Qualifications

• Active California RN license or compact license accepted
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery/Postpartum
• Travel experience preferred, but we welcome strong first-time travelers
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (AWOHNN intermediate or advanced)
• C-section circulation experience required
• Stable (fetal monitoring) certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum care
• Proficient in fetal monitoring and C-section circulation
• Skilled in using Cerner EMR and FetalLink systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of AWOHNN guidelines and high-risk delivery care
• Comfortable floating to NICU and providing care to grower/feeders
