Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to East Campus and PCU when qualified to support facility needs
Document assessments and interventions accurately in Cerner
Support patients recovering from total joint replacements with expert nursing care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with CVA and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to minimal orientation
Total joint replacement experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Medical/Surgical nursing fundamentals
Patient ratio comfort at 1:5
BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatment support
Collaboration with Charge Nurses and House Supervisors
Working alongside Nurse Aides at 1:10-15 ratios
