Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings for patients, alerting the care team to any changes
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and provide emergency care when needed
• Educate patients and families on heart health, medications, and recovery

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Telemetry or cardiac monitoring experience
• EPIC electronic health record proficiency
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Comfort with electronic health records (EPIC)
