Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process
- Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Apply age-specific considerations and cultural diversity in patient care
- Serve as a resource person when needed
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
- Licensed in good standing in the State of Alaska as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Current BLS & ACLS, preferred to have PALS
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
- Completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work in patient care setting
- Theoretical knowledge of the nursing process, care management, and continuity of care
