Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess stepdown patients with changing acuity
• Provide skilled care to patients on BiPAP and ventilators
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
• Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent stepdown or critical care experience
• Comfortable managing BiPAP and ventilator patients
• EPIC experience required
• Must be available to work strike coverage starting September 3, 2026

Knowledge & Skills

• Stepdown and telemetry nursing expertise
• BiPAP and ventilator management
• EPIC charting proficiency
• ACLS and BLS protocols
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
