Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to residents using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer and document direct and indirect nursing care following each physician's plan of care
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective, efficient resident care and positive outcomes
- Respect the age, cultural background, and preferences of every resident during all interactions
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives that enhance the quality of care
- Support the organization's vision and mission by advocating for resident safety and dignity
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- At least one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- A compassionate, team-oriented approach and a commitment to excellent resident care
Education
- <ul>
- <li value="1">Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.</li>
- <li value="2">Current California RN license.</li>
- <li value="3">Current certification in CPR.</li>
- </ul>
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of the nursing process and evidence-based practice
- Strong clinical documentation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team
- Cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity in resident care
- Commitment to performance improvement and positive resident outcomes
- Familiarity with skilled nursing facility (SNF) environments is a plus
