Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients from diagnosis through remission
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience
Float to other PCU and MedSurg units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards
Support patients and families through culturally diverse and emotionally sensitive situations

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
First-time travelers welcome
Valid driver's license required at submission

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with EPIC charting within the last 6 months preferred
Familiarity with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000, ICP)
Comfort with chemotherapy administration and titration of cardiac drips
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced mixed-acuity unit
