Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed Progressive Care Unit
Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing patients with cardiac, vascular, stroke, sepsis, and post-procedure needs
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient experiences and responsive communication
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Support diverse patient populations including Hispanic and Somalian communities with cultural sensitivity

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency managing arterial lines and titratable drips
Minimum one year of recent PCU, cardiac, or telemetry experience preferred
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Kearney and not be currently employed by CommonSpirit facilities
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
Ability to manage arterial lines and multiple titratable drips
Excellent communication, flexibility, and teamwork mindset
Comfortable floating between PCU, MedSurg, and ICU as needed
Open to feedback and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment
