Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing arterial lines and complex patient conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient experiences and outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed to support patients at the appropriate level of care
Champion patient safety and satisfaction by focusing on responsiveness, clear medication communication, and a healing environment

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency managing arterial lines and titrating cardiac drips
Strong telemetry interpretation skills and comfort with high-flow oxygen equipment
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90% score during orientation
Valid driver's license at time of submission to confirm travel radius

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac and telemetry monitoring expertise
Proficiency with arterial lines and common PCU drips
Flexibility to float between PCU, MedSurg, and ICU
Excellent communication and adaptability in a culturally diverse patient population
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and accept feedback
