Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms with precision
Titrate cardiac medications including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Manage arterial lines and support patients requiring high-flow oxygen therapy
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient experiences
Adapt quickly to floating assignments while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency in arterial line management
Minimum one year of PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to receive feedback

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Cardiac medication administration and titration
Arterial line management
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Team collaboration and adaptability
