Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, and general procedures
Collaborate with a dedicated team in a 7-suite OR environment using advanced Da Vinci robotics technology
Support patients through pre and post-operative phases while maintaining the highest safety standards
Float to Pre/Post op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to ensure seamless patient care
Educate and mentor fellow team members while contributing to an environment of exceptional camaraderie

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery and robotics
Ability to pass skills-based exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Valid driver's license required at time of application
Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius requirement and meet CommonSpirit facility restrictions

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
Comprehensive knowledge of neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, and general surgical procedures
Experience with Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgeries
Strong pre and post-operative care skills
Ability to handle ER trauma cases when floating to emergency department
