Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with Saturday and Sunday call every 6-7 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional pre and post-operative care to patients undergoing General, Ortho, Uro, Robotics, and GYN procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure seamless operations in a fast-paced OR environment
Monitor patients in PACU and Phase 2 recovery, delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing care
Float to sister facilities when needed, bringing your expertise to support multiple teams
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and Surginet EMR systems
Respond to on-call needs every 6-7 weeks, ensuring patients receive timely surgical support

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS certification required
Experience in General, Ortho, Uro, Robotics, and GYN procedures preferred
Familiarity with Cerner and Surginet EMR systems
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working with bariatric, pediatric, and endo patients
Quick turnaround mindset for efficient case flow
Adaptable to floating between facilities
