Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with evening, weekend, and holiday call required (30-minute response time)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care across a variety of surgical specialties
- Assist with robotic and laparoscopic procedures including chole, hernia, appendectomy, ortho, gyn, and podiatry cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, techs, and first assistants to ensure smooth case flow
- Monitor patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Document accurately in Epic while maintaining sterile technique and OR protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
- Current BLS certification
- Previous OR experience preferred
- Robot and GI experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
- Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
- Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
