Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized, compassionate care to our tiniest patients in a Level III NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with confidence and precision
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine experts
Float occasionally to Mother-Baby or L&D to support newborns and families
Follow AWHONN/NANN staffing guidelines to deliver safe, high-quality care
Serve as a trusted advocate and safety resource across the unit

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS and NRP certifications
Minimum three years of recent NICU nursing experience
Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with neonatal ventilators and central lines
Ability to care for neonates across continuous, intermediate, and intensive levels
Understanding of AWHONN/NANN staffing ratios and best practices
Willingness to float to Mother-Baby or L&D as needed
