Location: Chandler, AZ

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to neuro patients, including post-surgical, post-crani, spine, and CVA cases
Monitor and interpret EKGs via centralized telemetry, detecting arrhythmias and responding appropriately
Maintain sterile field during procedures and ensure infection control standards
Collaborate with charge nurse, clinical supervisor, and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on neurological conditions and recovery plans

Qualifications

Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent neuro telemetry experience (within past 6 months)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam via RELIAS within 48 hours of offer (max 2 attempts)
Pass a sterile technique exam on day 1 of orientation
COVID-19 vaccine or approved medical/religious declination

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation skills and arrhythmia identification
Proficient in sterile technique and aseptic procedures
Ability to manage a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Comfortable with neuro assessments and post-operative care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
