Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to neuro stepdown patients
• Monitor neurological status, vital signs, and assess changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain comprehensive records

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• Current BLS certification
• Prior neuro, stepdown, or critical care experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
