Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), includes every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert cardiac and telemetry monitoring for adult and geriatric patients
Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality PCU-level care
Manage patients with diagnoses including cardiac caths, EP studies, pneumonia, and sepsis

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota (or compact state license)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
At least 1 year of recent PCU or telemetry experience
Proven ability to read and interpret cardiac strips independently
Epic EHR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac care and telemetry monitoring
Medication titration (Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, etc.)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
