End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac and telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac strips while managing PCU-level patients
Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix
Collaborate with the care team to support patients recovering from cardiac caths, EP studies, and pacemakers
Float to PCU, med-surg, and ER holds as a helping hand when needed
Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, recovery plans, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of PCU experience with proven ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Epic experience preferred but not required
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac telemetry and strip interpretation skills
Experience with drip titration and cardiac medications
Comfortable caring for patients on BiPAP, trach, and Airvo
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable when floating to different units
