Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across MedSurg and ER settings, floating between units as needed
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while maintaining continuity of care
Titrate critical drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Start IVs and manage PICC lines and ports with precision and care
Respond swiftly to codes for cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis emergencies
Participate in trauma response and stabilize patients for higher-level transfer
Document EKGs and interpret cardiac strips using Mindray monitors
Collaborate directly with hospitalists in a lean, independent environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of ER experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing support
Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to titrate multiple IV drips safely
Competence in trauma response and emergency protocols
Familiarity with swing-bed rehab and med-surg patient populations
EMTALA compliance awareness for patient transfers
