Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to Med/Surg patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions to promote recovery

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Previous Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic per diem environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of Med/Surg nursing practices, patient assessment, and care planning
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and charting
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Team collaboration and patient advocacy
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
