Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama or valid compact license
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Previous Med/Surg experience is a plus
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, caring environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing practices
• Skilled in IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Proficient in electronic health records and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
