Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and recovery
- Document patient care accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles and standards
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple patients
