Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Document care clearly and timely in the electronic health record
Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact RN license where applicable
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; advanced certifications a plus
Experience or strong interest in Med/Surg nursing; comfortable with 12.5-hour shifts
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of Med/Surg patient assessment and interventions
Medication administration and IV therapy skills
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
Basic clinical judgment, critical thinking, and delegation skills
Patient education and discharge planning experience
